I have always used to wonder; what makes a person successful what does it take? Is there a secret formula that I need to crack that I have never been told.

I think there is a flaw in thinking that successful people have a secret that you do not know; this thinking just results in believing that success is outside of yourself, outside of your reach.

So what does it really take to be successful? From all I have learnt along the way and getting a great new fresh look at success; care of my little girl I realize that success really is simple. True success is available to everyone if we choose. So what do you choose, are you up the challenge?

Are you willing to commit, consistent, persistent, learn and grow, correct your efforts along the way?

Some simple words that if applied are the keys to success. So many people attempt something a few times and give up. If we had applied that theory in our first few years of life we would have never walked or talked.

• Commit – decide what you want and go for it
• Consistent – take steps everyday towards your goal, when you were learning to walk you practiced over and over again non stop
• Persistent – Keep going in the face of challenge and adversity (and there is likely to be some challenge)
• Learn and grow – Be willing to work on yourself and your mindset. The fastest way to success is believe you are successful. Learn from your efforts and correct along the way.
